    Anti Torlock Deck

Been playing around with an idea for a very cheesy torlock buster deck. I post it here so people can perhaps build upon it with their own cards or offer advice on it. Deck includes the following:

    1 Notg
    2 GHP
    3 Alchemist
    2 Goblin Ambushers
    1 Voracious Axe
    2 Magma Elementals
    1 Goblin Relic Hunter
    2 Sympathetic Slaughter
    2 Dark Resurrection
    1 Dido
    2 Heartbreakers
    1 Teressa the Soul Weaver

The way you play this deck is to try and play Voracious Axe as soon as possible to set your absorb to 0 and lower your deck size. When they play Torment they will deal damage to you which will start to unlock the nasty on deplete effects. Sometimes they will play Guilbert's Curse and do this job for you.

Goblin Relic Hunter eventually depletes. This deck has no talismans so every lamp and toa that they have goes into the deplete pile and are then promptly eaten by magma elementals. You will keep Teressa in your hand until you're low on cards, then play her to get all your cards back and go for the second on deplete phase. If you got Dido, all the better, play Teressa after you cheat death.

Nectar of the Gods will help bring their torments and spirit wards into the deplete pile, dark resurrection can be used to force your magma's to deplete when you see cards that you really want gone in their deplete pile. Sympathetic Slaughter is used for the killing blow. Once half their deck has been eaten they will likely kill themselves. Goblin Ambushers are there to help you deplete even more and to finish off stubborn opponents.

Banish isn't too great an issue, because once used they'll have to go back to torments sooner or later and this is when you'll take damage and smite them.

Here is a picture of Magma Elemental eating cards.

Here is a picture of a cute kitten that I want.

this is not even close to counter tor lock at first you have only 1 turn b4 you're locked so you won't do anything really if you don't draw axe in starting hand and more you have to start as 1st to even play it, then there won't be anything in enemy depletation pile cos of melee healing like catch your breatch [most popular due to low att] and finally bernie will eat you with 5-8 dmg attacks, that's crippling dmg to 20 card deck and you also forgot that they put potions in deck too

ps that's not a kitten but cheetah, he would reap your soul

just do this deck with assasin. torment cant deal less than 3 and with bard 6 damage and more likely is 6-9. catch deals 3 damage guaranteed when played with bard. This way, damage will come. With or without axe.

    he have put potion:2 GHP
i think to sure the torment will deal damage, assassin can be chosen
i think that the main point is to use goblin relic hunter to deplete specially the talisman,
then use deplete effect of magma elemental,
so i think a normal cycle with these two cards and a soul spear is enough

yes asn will help do dmg but still if magma elementals won't be depleted in time it's all ended cos banish will simply tear apart this deck in 3-4 hits another thing that come to my mind is that it's still about duels/colly which is another lucky shot to actually meet torm lock, simply points lost in meanwhile makes it not worth trying also remove 2 ghp for 2 martyrs or something with banish instead deplete cos everytime alche will heal ghp instead notg you will be closer to fail also adding 4th alche will make it better cycle

edit: since this deck is unreal for most ppl anyway then using Ryan, Ill-Fated_Grenadist would be better, even adding alchemist's argument for additional banish

Well my friend put up a pvp torlock deck so i could test this, he got 1 bernerd in it. He played and I banished some cards, then he attempted to get his torlocks in and failed. he died to ss in the end, so it works in practice. I'm probably going to do a few more fights and see how it goes. I think I need to do a few changes, but relic hunter dropping his talismans seemed like a massive turn in the fight.

I would say Bernard again torment lock deck. Banish on use and deplete card when depleted.
